Seven-time Grammy-winning group Lady Antebellum announced
their 2015 world tour during an appearance on ‘The Talk’ on Tuesday (Jan. 6).
The tour is in support of their latest album ‘747’, which was released on
September 30, 2014, reached #2 on the Billboard 200 and made nine trips to #1
on the country radio charts. In 2014, the group had been busy with their Take
Me Downtown Tour with Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves and others supporting their
fifth album ‘Golden’. Two days ago (Jan. 7), the group won the award for
Favorite Country Group at the 41st annual People’s Choice Awards.
The Wheels Up Tour will kick off on February 28 with
multiple shows in Europe and Australia in March followed by a massive North
American run starting on May 1 in Lubbock, TX. The tour will continue through
most of September making stops in major cities like Houston, New York, Detroit,
Toronto, San Diego, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Hartford, Chicago, Philadelphia among
many other places. Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt will be joining the group for the
majority of the North American dates as supporting performers.
The Grammy-winning trio only announced the cities, exact
dates and venues will be announced at a later date. Here’s a list of the cities
