Iggy Azalea Reschedules ‘The Great Escape’ Tour

Due to production delays, Iggy Azalea’s The Great Escape tour is getting pushed to the fall, and she will be performing without Nick Jonas and Tinashé, who were previously scheduled to join her. "To accommodate for creative team availability and tour production plans, it was determined that the tour will not be ready this spring," Azalea’s rep announced in a statement to Billboard. Azalea posted on her Twitter yesterday, “Iggz HQ: The tour getting pushed back only means that it'll be way more amazing than it would've been in April. Good things take time.”

The tour, which was originally scheduled to begin April 14 in Fresno, CA and run through May 24 in Austin, TX has now been pushed to September. New dates find Azalea starting the tour September 18 in San Diego and completing the tour October 27 in Glendale, AZ.

Iggy Azalea was Named Google’s No.1 Trending Music Artist in 2014

Iggy Azalea was all over radio and TV this year, and Google’s A Year In Search report results prove it. The “Fancy” rapper tops the Trending Music Artists list and is also the fourth most searched person in the U.S. In 2015, Iggy will be hitting the road for her first ever tour called “The Great Escape Tour”. As we mentioned in yesterday’s blog, the tour will kick off on April 14 in Fresno, CA and make stops in LA, Miami, Las Vegas, Toronto, and Chicago before wrapping in Austin, TX on May 24. Even though the “Fancy” rapper Iggy Azalea’s new album is not released yet, it doesn't stop her from hitting the road. She announced yesterday that she will launch the North American leg of her 2015 “The GreatEscape Tour” in April. The tour will kick off on April 14 in Fresno, CA and make stops in LA, Miami, Las Vegas, Toronto, and Chicago before wrapping in Austin, TX on May 24.

The tour comes in support of her debut The New Classic, which was nominated for four Grammys including Best Rap Album. Iggy will be joined by Nick Jonas, Tinashe, and DJ Wizz Kidd as opening performers during her tour.
