Shania Twain Extends North American Tour

Shania Twain announced that she will be extending her tour to October 11, 2015. The ‘Rock This Country’ Tour, which was scheduled to end August 23 in Fresno, CA, has been so well received that she’s extending it into the fall. The first leg of the tour officially kicks off on June 5 in Seattle making stops in New York, Boston, Nashville, Los Angeles and cities in Canada. The second leg of the tour will begin on Sept. 12 in Spokane, Wash. then head to Portland, Calgary, Alberta, and Buffalo among other cities.  Special guests will include Gavin DeGraw and Wes Mack.

This will be Shania Twain’s first North American tour in more than 11 years and also her final tour. She is best known for her best-selling country album of all time, 'Come on Over'.

Shania Twain Announced “Rock This Country” Farewell Tour

Shania Twain announced her farewell tour “Rock This Country” on Good Morning America this Wednesday. This massive, 48-city run marks the country superstar’s first North American tour in more than 11 years. The tour will kick off in Seattle on June 5, and run through Canada before heading back to the States. The tour ends in Fresno, CA on August 23, days before Twain’s 50^th birthday. Wes Mack will be the supporting performer from June 5 through June 28 and Gavin DeGraw will perform on the remaining dates.

“This is a very, very important time on the road for me,” Twain said on Good Morning America while announcing the tour. “I just feel like I’m ready to hang my hat up in that regard. I just really want to go out with a bang.” While this tour will be her last concert trek, she will still record music and plans to release a new album. ““I want to just enjoy that party, that celebration party, and then I’ll get back to the record,” shared Twain.
