Gigi, the new Broadway musical opened last night (Wednesday)
at the Neil Simon Theater on Broadway. Gigi the musical is a revival of the
1973 Broadway production that book writer/lyricist Alan Jay Lerner and composer
Frederick Loewe adapted from their hit movie, which won the 1958 Oscar as best
movie, best screenplay adaptation, best song, best direction among nine Oscar
awards.
Vanessa Hudgens, best known for her role in High School Musical,
is playing the title role in this $12 million Broadway production.
