Van Halen announced 39 dates for its summer and fall tour. The band will kick off its
2015 North American tour with a July 5 show in Seattle then conclude in Oct. 2
at the Hollywood Bowl. The never-say-die band tour will return with lead singer
David Lee Roth and will include stops at Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula
Vista, Portland, Salt Lake City, Boston, Hartford and Toronto.
The
tour will follow their anticipated March 31 release of the 23-song Van Halen
album, "Tokyo Dome Live in Concert," which was recorded in 2013 and
also the remastered versions of the band's albums, "Van Halen" and
"1984". The band's lineup remains intact from that tour with
guitarist Eddie Van Halen; his son, Wolfgang, on bass, Alex Van Halen (Eddie's
brother) on drums; and original band singer David Lee Roth, who was also
featured on the previous Van Halen tour.
