2014 Theater Shows



Start your new year off right by seeing one of these Broadway productions:


  • Aladdin: Disney's Aladdin will begin on February 26th, 2014 at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York. Currently the production is live at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto, Canada until January 5th, 2014. The performance is based on the original animated film and was produced by the Disney Theatrical Productions. 
  • Beautiful- The Carole King Musical: This musical follows the life of singer and songwriter Carole King. The production is selling tickets to previews right now, with the opening night occurring on January 12th, 2014. Performances are taking place at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York. The musical premiered in San Francisco to a sold out theater. 
  • Hedwig and the Angry Inch: Neil Patrick Harris will star as Hedwig Robinson, the transgender lead singer of a rock band. Previews start on March 29th, 2014 at the Belasco Theatre in New York. 
  • Rocky: The Broadway production follows the story of boxer Rocky Balboa on his journey against Apollo Creed. Previews begin February 11, 2014 at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York. The play officially opens on March 13th. 
  • Les Miserables: The popular, award winning musical is set to return to Broadway on March 1st, 2014 at the Imperial Theatre in New York. The official opening night is later in the month on March 23rd. 
  • Bullets Over Broadway: Written by Woody Allen, the story follows the life of a new playwright when he first arrives on Broadway in the 1920's. The play will feature Zach Braff who is best known for his part on the television show, Scrubs. Previews for the show begin on March 1st, 2014 at the St. James Theatre in New York. 
  • Heathers-The Musical: The musical tells the story of the original mean girls, which were first introduced in the film in 1989. Previews of the play begin on March 17th, 2014 at the New World Stages in New York. "What's your damage?!"
