Journey is Back and Still Rocking Hard

The 1980s rock band Journey is literally enjoying a renaissance with new touring and dates across the U.S. The return to popularity of the band is a story in its own, as the lead singer is not the original of Journey, Steve Perry, but instead new singer, Arnel Pineda. Journey's current singer is backed up by original band members Neal Schon on lead guitar and Ross Valory on bass, as well as Dean Castronovo on drums and Jonathan Cain on keyboards and rhythm guitar.

The beauty of the current lineup is how authentic Journey today sounds like the Journey from the 1970s and 1980s. Fans can again enjoy accurate, live renditions of Faithfully, Escape, Don't Stop Believin, and even the famous love ballad, Open Arms. Most concerts include at least 30 to 40 songs, so Journey fans will not be disappointed. Not only do concert-goers get to sample the more recent songs of the latest band lineup, they also get to go down memory lane with old album favorites as well. Fans shouldn't be surprised at catching themselves singing major hits at the top of their lungs when Journey plays them live. 20,000 other fans will probably be doing the same thing, which is a really neat experience to be part of at a live show.

For 2013, Journey is touring again for the summer and shows are still available in August and September in Louisiana, Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nevada. September 2013 will close out with a show in Lake Tahoe as well as San Francisco, California, before a final date in Atlanta, Georgia.

To catch Journey on its tour tickets and event passes can be obtained through ticketclub.com, even for shows that are already in high demand. So take a look at the possibilities and keep on rocking with Journey this year!
