The rumors are true, pop star Katy Perry will headline the
Super Bowl XLIX halftime show, announced late Sunday by NFL. Katy Perry also confirmed
last night on her personal Twitter account that she will be performing at the
halftime show of Super Bowl XLIX at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale,
Arizona on February 1, 2015. “My band is in the other room screaming at the TV
(and each other) over this Cowboys-Giants game. Can’t wait for February 1st,”
Perry tweeted, later adding, “I’ve already started testing out ideas!”
Currently, Perry is in Australia on her “Prismatic WorldTour”. Check out the full list of her tour dates and locations:
